Today's forecast calls for a wet and windy commute. Stay safe out there.

Another atmospheric river is barreling down on the Bay Area and it could cause service delays or disruptions for transit agencies throughout the area.At 9 a.m., the agency reported that the Powell/Hyde Cable Car line is blocked in both directions by a downed tree near Jackson and Hyde streets, which they are working to clear.

Beginning this afternoon, all cable car service will be provided by buses through tomorrow. Additionally, F Market line service will be provided by buses through the end of service on Jan. 5, as well.As of 9 a.m., BART is reporting that there may be almost 20-minute delays across the system due to wet weather conditions. The agency also advises riders to watch their step on wet platforms and stairways.

As of 8 a.m. Wednesday, the Vallejo, Oakland, Alameda Seaplane and Richmond routes are operational.
