Indiana University announced Monday it is creating a new task force to address the future of graduate education on its flagship campus. Strike leaders, though, are not impressed, saying IU is still not addressing the issues they are striking over.

"With this task force, I'm signaling to our faculty and graduate students that I am committed to continuing to make improvements and allowing graduate students to have a seat at the table in order to continue to attract the best graduate students in the nation and from around the world to Indiana University," Shrivastav said.
"Something frustrating about the task force is they specifically frame it around the future of graduate education, despite the fact that currently right now there are several hundred graduate workers organizing on the picket line for a better working conditions for better education for all," Nelson said.
