The Clague Playhouse is packing them in for the performances of Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol through December 3. It is not the usual Christmas Carol that most people remember.
The 14th annual “Jewelry Heist” at Clague Playhouse encourages donations while play-goers decide how much they think the jewelry is worth. It is that simple—no price tags. The “Heist” is in the lobby from November 3 through December 3 and also December 15 through 17.WESTLAKE, Ohio –
Jeanne Madison is “The Bogle” meaning a supernatural being who helps Marley along. Then there is a surprising actor who is playing Scrooge. It is a woman, Anne McEvoy, but she portrays the original sour old man very well. The play is in two acts with a comfortable intermission of 15 minutes and it is well worth attending. The play easily keeps the audience interested and time flies.
But prior to the show is another type of “show” going on out in the lobby. It is the annual “Jewelry Heist” utilized for generating donations for the Playhouse.
