Ryoko has been married to candle artist Jun Izutsu since 2010 and has two children with him, and a third from a previous marriage.Ryoko uploaded a handwritten apology letter on Instagram today , revealing: "My relationship with Mr. Toba is as described in the article.""Above all, I feel sorry for the sadness and pain I have caused to Mr. Toba's family," she added.

After apologising to her fans as well, Ryoko continued: "I would like to think about my life from now on, keeping in mind the fact that I have ruined my dream career as an actress and have committed the sin of hurting Mr. Toba's family."
