Jenna Ortega's Wednesday faces off against Ghostface in new art inspired by a ScreamVI poster.

Scream 6 fan art imagines what it would look like if the slasher sequel's killer Ghostface squared off against Jenna Ortega's character from Wednesday instead of her Scream character Tara Carpenter. Wednesday, which premiered on Netflix in November 2022, is a reboot of the iconic Addams Family franchise following Wednesday Addams as a teenager dealing with various murderous and supernatural threats while attempting to find herself at the private school Nevermore Academy.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY On Twitter, fan artist BossLogic shared a new design inspired by the upcoming release of Scream 6 on March 10. The art is inspired by the Scream 6 poster where Ghostface's iconic mask is peering out from behind a subway window, showing off the film's New York City setting. This time, Ghostface is looming over Wednesday, who is staring up at the killer with a flinty expression while the disembodied hand Thing sneaks up behind with a knife.Jenna Ortega is a Scream Queen for a New Generation One thing that this artwork highlights is that Ortega is truly a Scream Queen for Gen Z.

From then on, she experienced a huge boom in horror roles. In the span of just three years, she appeared in You, the Samara Weaving sequel The Babysitter: Killer Queen, Scream 2022, the Foo Fighters horror-comedy Studio 666, Ti West's X , the satire American Carnage, and Wednesday. With Wednesday season 2 renewed and Scream 6 promising to usher in a new branch of the iconic slasher franchise, Ortega's horror bona fides will only continue to grow.

However, beyond her Scream 6 and Wednesday, there is one facet of Ortega's career that cements in her status as an iconic Scream Queen for a new generation. She doesn't always play the victim.
