Aaron Rodgers went through one of the toughest 24 hours of his life after tearing his Achilles on Monday night. Here's how he explained it.

Rodgers was right, and that moment set into motion an overwhelming 24 hours that tested Rodgers in every way.

“I was just wondering how quickly we could get this done,” Rodgers said. “I didn’t want to waste any time. Every day that we wasted was a day longer for me to not be doing what I wanted to do.” Rodgers said the combination of emotions was ultimately overwhelming. He was sad because of all the work he had put in to get to that point, and losing it after just four plays.

Rodgers said he’s also upset because he won’t have the same chance to be involved in the locker room. His plan is ultimately to rejoin the team before the end of the season. But he also admitted that will take some time.
