Miles Austin, who coaches wide receivers for the Jets, was not with the team for their loss against the Jaguars at MetLife Stadium on Thursday night.
Austin joined Robert Saleh’s coaching staff on the Jets last season. Austin had a 10-year career in the NFL as a wideout; he played from 2006-13 for the Cowboys then spent one season each on the Browns and Eagles.
