A 63-year-old Jewish man was attacked in a Brooklyn park Tuesday morning, prompting a reward for information about his attacker.
The man, whose name was not released by police, was attacked at 7:40 a.m. when he was running in Lincoln Terrace Park.
The pair started fighting and the assailant allegedly grabbed a rock and hit the victim in the mouth and forehead, the NYPD spokesman said."He said he defended himself. He fought him off. He doesn’t remember much of it -- he was on the floor but he doesn’t remember how he got on the floor," Friedman told ABC News.
His father-in-law has been discharged from the hospital and had the laceration on his forehead stapled, Friedman told ABC News.
