Two Jewish-owned buildings were targeted Monday night in Fresno and the damage is being investigated as a hate crime.
The employee also found a backpack left behind with more rocks inside.An employee showed up around 8:30 a.m. PST and found two windows broken and a newspaper left behind with written messages stating threats to Jewish-owned businesses.
Fresno Police Chief Paco Balderama says that even though there is no indication these are hate crimes, both vandalisms are being treated as such. The Fresno Police Department will not tolerate any acts of violence, threats of violence or efforts of intimidation towards any of our community members.
