The former Good Wife star is reportedly in talks to star in a new CBS series

’s Alicia Florrick might never come back to appear in the CBS show’s streaming spin-off,has left the Eye forever. In fact, CBS All Access headtold reporters at a Television Critics Association panel that the platform is working on a new series, with Margulies once again front and center.

“We love Julianna, and there’s a long history there, a long, great history with her,” McNamara said, perThere was a different expectation of what sort of that meant and it didn't work out. And, you know, we have another project in development with her that we have a deal for her to star, if that goes forward here on the service—something in the future.”

McNamara declined to share further details just yet, but emphasized that there’s no bad blood between Margulies and her former network home—and Margulies herself toldEarlier this year, news broke that Margulies had beenseason three—but she turned it down because, as Margulies put it at the time, “CBS wouldn’t pay me.”

Margulies explained that she asked for her normal fee to do the appearance, but said CBS offered her only the guest star rate. “I’m not a guest star; I started the whole thing with,” Margulies said. “I wanted to be paid my worth and stand up for equal pay.... To be perfectly honest, I was shocked. I was more surprised than hurt.
