With the announcement, many Korean netizens have gathered on various online communities and articles pertaining to Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In's marriage to share their two cents. Back in 2011, Lee Da In's father was sentenced to prison for manipulating stock prices and earning unfair profits. Lee Da In's father was sentenced to three years in prison after taking control of Corebit, a KOSDAQ-listed company, and falsely claiming that they would invest in the medical bio-industry, taking 26.6 billion KRW and diverting the funds for purposes other than those publicly announced. He reportedly used the proceeds to pay off his debts instead of investing.
