Their compassionate comments come after King Charles III expressed his dismay, declaring on the Royal Family's digital channels: "We have been profoundly shocked to hear of the utterly horrific incident in Southport today", as reported by the Mirror. Police shared distressing details about a 17 year old boy from Banks, originally from Cardiff, who has been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder after an assault on Hart Street, Southport, Merseyside. The authorities have clarified that despite the absence of terror-related motives, the reasons behind this brutal act "remains unclear."
