Kate Middleton visited High Down Prison sporting a mysterious hand injury on Tuesday morning.
Kensington Palace revealed that the injury, which resulted in a bandage wrapped around two fingers, came from her playing on the trampoline with her children.The Princess of Wales, 41, who is mom to Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5, was visiting the prison as part of her role as patron of the Forward Trust, to see how inmates and their families are being supported through addiction, ahead of Addiction Awareness Week.
This is one of Middleton’s first royal engagements since summer break ended and her children resumed school. Earlier this month, she wore Queen Elizabeth’s pearl earrings on the first anniversary of the monarch’s death as she attended a memorial service.
