Opinion: Katy got barred from the door of Hispanic caucus: Letters
Re: “Latino caucus bars Kate Sanchez, a new GOP assemblymember” : Looks like Hispanics are not welcome by the California Latino Legislative Caucus if they have an after their name. Unbelievably, newly-elected assembly representative Kate Sanchez and other GOP legislators are barred from joining this “exclusive” club. So much for “working across the aisle.
It seems that this should be more serious than the possibility that George Santos might become a member of the House.— Arline George, ResedaA lot of the editorials in this newspaper critique public education and teacher organizations. There are, of course, myriad suggestions about how to fix education, suggestions given by wholly unqualified people. It’s becoming quite the norm to offer such suggestions, even to doctors’ organizations and medical care.
