BlackKnight actor Kim Woobin recalls acting alongside costar Esom in his debut role and explains why he felt close to both her and Kang Yoo Seok on the set of the netflix Kdrama:
Black Knight is a dystopian Korean drama based on the Delivery Knight webtoon by Lee Yoon-gyun, but it also serves as a long overdue reunion for stars Kim Woo-bin and Esom. The two actors previously appeared together in the KB2 drama special series White Christmas in 2011, a psychological thriller whose bleak premise might rival their current Netflix project. In Black Knight, they are joined by the younger actor Kang Yoo-seok , whose character Sa-wol has much to learn from each of them.
Kim Woo-bin: Esom was actually in my debut series 13 years ago, [KBS2's White Christmas in 2011], so I have a special place in my heart for her. I was very happy to see her once again in this project, and I think somehow we have this camaraderie because we both were in the same series.
