A Gallup analysis showed the stay-at-home mom had higher percentages of experiencing depression, anger, stress and worry than working moms, but working moms have their own set of problems.
Sonja HallerKirsten Dunst says work can offer a respite from the non-stop employment of being full-time mom.The"Bring it On" and"Spider-Man" actress welcomed a son with actor husband Jesse Plemons in May 2018. Dunst is set to appear in the Showtime series"On Becoming a God In Central Florida" and during the Television Critics Association Summer 2019 Press Tour recently said life on the set is easier than being a full-time mom.
"I’m just tired all the time," Dunst, 37, said as she promoted the project with costars Mel Rodriguez, Beth Ditto and Theodore Pellerin reported People. In the dark comedy series, Dunst stars as Krystal Stubbs, a wife and mother living near Orlando, Fla. in the 90s hustling a her way to the top of pyramid scheme."It’s so much easier to go back to work than it is to be a stay at home mom," the actress said. Her mother-in-law watches her son, Ennis Howard, while she's working. She added: “I was like, ‘bye’ to my mother-in-law. I was like, phew!”SAHMs versus working momseasier for career moms than stay-at-home moms?.
A Gallup analysis of more than 60,000 U.S. women in 2012 found that SAHMs are more likely than working moms to say they experience anger or sadness. SAHMs were much more likely to experience sadness at 26% compared to employed moms at 16% and women without children, also at 16%.
