Sen. Amy Klobuchar said her campaign will continue on to New Hampshire's primary contest regardless of how she finishes in the Iowa caucuses

Sen. Amy Klobuchar said Monday that there is “no scenario” where her campaign does not continue on to New Hampshire's primary contest next week, regardless of where she finishes in Iowa's first-in-the-nation caucuses.

“There's no scenario where I don't go on,” she said in an interview Monday morning on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” Klobuchar cited endorsements she’s racked up in New Hampshire, the first primary state, which include members of the state legislature’s leadership as well as the editorial boards of the three biggest newspapers in the state.

“We have this incredible operation,” Klobuchar said of her prospects in the early states of Iowa and New Hampshire, arguing that the strength of her campaign has allowed her to absorb the blow of being off the campaign trail and back in Washington for President Donald Trump's impeachment trial over the last month.

“So we're leaving on the plane late tonight going to New Hampshire, but I think I will do well in Iowa,” she continued. “I don't put numbers on it. You guys can be the pundits, but the fact we're in the top five when we've had 25 candidates and I am the one that has been able to keep going and build the surge, punching above my weight when you look at the finances of so many of my other opponents, I'd say we've got a good story already.
