The Knicks were ranked 18th in the NBA through Wednesday in free-throw shooting at 77.5 percent, including 17-for-26 against the Spurs.“Just shoot it well,” coach Tom Thibodeau said Wednesday night. “As long as you shoot it well, sometimes you’re going to miss. But more often than not, you’ll make. So get up there and make.”
Obi Toppin was assigned Thursday to G-League Westchester so he could practice five-on-five with contact on the team’s off day. He accompanied the Knicks to Toronto for Friday’s game against the Raptors.
