Those are necessary emotions for character development. So I’m probably going to throw sand at you again next time because I never saw how you reacted.
A couple of times per year, we take Thursday and Friday off, we rent a big Airbnb about an hour away from our house, and we stay there with four other families. It involves nothing more than that. We pack puzzles for the kids, and a bunch of food, and it’s incredibly relaxing. The kids run around together and the adults can just talk. I find so much happiness in community living.
