A Melbourne financial planner who sneaked into Western Australia to watch the AFL grand final has been banned from working in his profession for 10 years.

, 49, were caught breaching WA’s COVID-19 border rules to watch the Melbourne Demons win their first flag in 57 years.

The men attended the grand final but were arrested days later in WA’s Margaret River wine region after photos of them celebrating the Demons win in the team’s locker room emerged on social media.
