LeBron James, Steph Curry and other athletes react to Nipsey Hussle's shooting death.
Rapper Nipsey Hussle was killed Sunday evening after being shot on the street outside of his clothing store in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Los Angeles.
“Please just open your hearts, eyes and ears!” he wrote in a follow-up tweet. “Please let’s stopping waiting until we’re gone before we decide to finally LISTEN!” As the Golden State Warriors took the court in Oakland on Sunday night, several players including Kevin Durant and Draymond Green were seen dancing as the arena played Hussle’s music. The Los Angeles rapper had dropped several mixtapes and worked with JAY-Z.
In a video posted by Complex Sports, Durant is seen relaying the news of the shooting to Stephen Curry, who placed his hands on his head after being told of the tragedy.
