The community will include 41 townhomes and a community center.
JMB Gardens will be built on North Sixth Street in Harrisburg. by former NFL player and Harrisburg native LeSean “Shady” McCoy moved one step further to getting a green light.
“I think this is going to be a great project for the community,” said Joseph Alsberry, chair of the Harrisburg Planning Commission. All of the units will be 100% affordable housing. There will also be a community center in the middle of the development at the corner of North Sixth and Emerald streets. The property is made up of 28 separate parcels, which are primarily vacant lots.
