Letter to editor: Clarence Thomas should resign because he has no sense and he is a judge making decisions.
A recent Daily Herald article titled"Personal hospitality" was about Clarence Thomas, who has received many luxury trips from billionaire friends who happen to donate to causes related to law and judiciary.
In my mind with what little common sense I have, this is a complete no-no, and he should resign because he has no sense and he is a judge making decisions. The article goes on to say the Democrats reacted furiously while the Republicans either defended or were silent. This is where common sense comes in. We, the people of the United States, are the ones who allow politicians to police themselves. We have to take the power from such politicians and put in an apolitical court system that will treat them honestly.
