With gas prices having been on the rise across America, many are wondering what can be done to help bring them down. While there are many global factors that affect consumer costs, a key way to help ensure Americans have affordable, reliable energy is by producing more right here at home.Advertisement
Second, Congress could pass comprehensive permitting reform that clears roadblocks to all kinds of energy infrastructure development but especially American oil and natural gas. Popular democracy is at stake. It is obvious that the Congress in Washington, D.C., is not in close touch with the electorate. Let’s not have that on a more local level.
As the subject to be dealt with gets further removed from the legislators, their interest in problem solving seems mainly dependent upon the source of many of their election funds. Too many interpret the service part of their election as a personal benefit.Let’s all call our Dallas City Council representative and let them know the state officers must be stopped in this assault on municipalities.
