Regular Lidl shoppers should notice a difference when buying their favourite products
In a major overhaul of its loyalty scheme to catch up with other retailers, bargain supermarket Lidl is expanding the offers that its frequent shoppers can get - and all you have to do is scan your loyalty card at the till.
Under the current coupon system, people have to activate their discounts through the phone app, but Lidl's new "Plus Offers" will simply be applied at the till with a simple scan of your loyalty cars. This is similar to other popular discount schemes, like the Tesco Clubcard.A Lidl spokesperson said: “To make it even easier for customers to save on their shopping we’ve introduced Lidl Plus Offers.
