OK, SHE stole the show, but her eye shadow came pretty damn close.
's incredible eye makeup at the very beginning of her performance on the MTV Video Music Awards, because my eyes were blurry with tears by the end of it. So I guess it's also a good thing I wasn'teye makeup like hers, either, because my face would be covered in wet streaks of yellow glitter. Lizzo's look stayed fully intact, however, and if her medley hadn't stolen the show, that eye look would have.
Lizzo's entire eyelid, nearly all the way to the brow, was covered in shimmering yellow eye shadow — my guess is that it's the shade Honey from. In fact, the only thing standing between the shadow and her eyebrows was golden glitter outlining the shadow and creating a full oval around her eye, making her lower lash line sparkle.
But let's be real: It's Lizzo herself who truly sparkled as she performed "Truth Hurts" and "Good as Hell" surrounded by dancers with a gorgeous array of body shapes and sizes. Earlier this year, she for "big girl dancers," when she realized that "there are not enough big girls with agents" in the dance industry. But she clearly found some of the best because her VMA dancers wereamazing as she reminded everyone that we all deserve to feel good as hell.Unfortunately, the glistening yellow shadow was short-lived.
