"These announcements remind passengers to hold onto hand grips and grab poles before the bus moves off from the bus stop," it said. LTA said on Saturday that the refresher programme will be increased from three to five sessions a week by the end of this year. LTA and public transport operations have started extending the minimum duration of bus captains' meal breaks to 30 minutes. This will be progressively extended to the entire bus captain workforce"in the next few years", said LTA.
