We chat with Lyric Lewis about her role as Cynthia in NBC's NightCourt, and whether she's likely to return to the iCarly reboot:
Love is in the courtroom in an all-new Night Court, airing Tuesday, March 28th on NBC. "Ready or Not" is the eleventh episode of the series, and while they share a similar premise, the reboot continues to differ from the 80s sitcom with each additional installment. When Abby's co-workers decide to help plan her wedding, Gurgs and Olivia compete to be maid of honor.
Screen Rant chats with Lyric Lewis about her role as Cynthia in NBC's Night Court and whether she's likely to return to the iCarly reboot. Cynthia is quite the salesperson. I have to say I admire her tenacity. But it seems like she wants Dan as more of a work partner than a client. How long did it take to film all your scenes? The timing is always interesting because sitcoms are, generally, shot pretty quickly.
Lyric Lewis: I think Cynthia might be up there at the top. I think she was just so fun. She was so different than other characters that I play. She was very much in charge, but still funny and had a lightness to her. She was just so fun to step into. So I think Cynthia would be up there. I got to wear a nice little power suit. Lyric Lewis: It is my favorite genre to play in absolutely. I coin myself a comedic actress. I do the comedy. My favorite genre to watch is horror.
