Magic Sign Guard Joel Ayayi - RealGM Wiretap
The Orlando Magic have signed guard Joel Ayayi. This deal is likely set up to get Ayayi to the Lakeland Magic of the G League, as Lakeland recently acquired Ayayi's Returning Player rights via trade.
Ayayi spent most of his rookie season with the Washington Wizards on a Two-Way contract. He appeared in seven games for the Wizards before being waived in March. The 6-foot-5 combo guard played in 29 games for the Capital City Go-Go of the G League. Ayayi averaged 10.5 points, 5.8 rebounds and 6.2 assists for the Go-Go last season.
