SINGAPORE — Malaysia Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim will make a one-day visit to Singapore on Monday (Jan 30), where he and Singapore counterpart Lee Hsien Loong will witness the signing of agreements in areas that include the green and digital economy.

This will be Mr Anwar's first official visit to Singapore in his current capacity, since he was sworn in as Malaysia's 10th prime minister on Nov 24.

The third is a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in personal data protection, cybersecurity and digital economy, between Singapore's Ministry of Communications and Information and Malaysia's Ministry of Communications and Digital. Mr Anwar's visit comes off the back of a four-day visit by Singapore's Foreign Affairs Minister to Malaysia last week.
