A Mobile man was arrested Thursday and charged with four counts of willful abuse of a child after four children revealed he had abused them, according to Mobile police.
Thirty-eight-year-old Roderick Beck posted an $8,000 bond shortly after 10 p.m. Friday, jail records show.

Two male students exhibited severe bruising and described being physically abused by a guardian who also threatened them with a firearm, police said.
Further investigations at a middle school revealed similar allegations from two other children related to the same guardian, police said. Investigators said there were visible injuries noted on one of those children.Mobile County Public School System spokesperson Rena Philips sent FOX10 News the following statement regarding the incident:
“We are mandatory reporters. We strongly encourage students to come talk to us if they have any issues. If we hear of any report of abuse, we report that to DHR.” FOX10 News has reached out to the Mobile District Attorney’s Office.
