Petronglo was in possession in five homemade explosive devices, officials said.
Thomas Petronglo, 64, of Vineland, pleaded guilty to possession of a destructive device and unlawful storage of explosives, prosecutors said.
Petronglo was found to be in possession of a 5 ¾-inch diameter metal can, which contained an explosive mixture of potassium perchlorate and aluminum with a fuse sticking out of it, on March 12, 2021, according to the indictment. Man's Death in NYC Police Lockup Under InvestigationNew York City police are investigating the death of a 38-year-old man who was found unresponsive in a police precinct jail cell in Manhattan. Police officials say the man was found unconscious Saturday afternoon in the Midtown South precinct lockup on West 35th Street. The police department says officers called in paramedics and gave the man medical aid. He was later pronounced dead at a hospital.
