Man dies after being thrown out of truck in collision with stationary car in Hong Kong.
A delivery man in the passenger seat of a truck was killed on Sunday morning after he was thrown from the vehicle, which had rammed into a stationary car in the middle of a road in Tai Po.
The driver of the car, 40, was waiting for help when the incident happened. He suffered minor injuries. The car driver was also arrested for drink-driving after failing a breathalyser test, and the truck driver was detained over dangerous driving causing death.Anyone who witnessed the accident or has any information is urged to contact officers on 3661 3800.
The First Bus vehicle, on route 113, was heading to Central on Connaught Road West when a car in the opposite lane, making a right turn, hit it at the junction with Chung King Road.
