Isaac Pence, 20, is being held in the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail on a $1 million bond in connection with the stabbing death of Charles Starner, 22, of Lancaster.
Sunday at a rental cabin in the Hocking Hills area of southeast Ohio.
The sheriff’s office says deputies were called to the rental cabin on Sullivan Road about a fight. When deputies and EMS medics arrived, they found the victim, identified as Charles Starner, with stab wounds. Investigators determined the suspect, identified as Pence, fled to Fairfield County, which is located just northwest of Hocking County. The Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office contacted both Pence and Flagg and they were brought back to Hocking County to be interviewed by detectives.
