Police discovered a man in his 30s shot near 23rd and West streets.
OAKLAND — A man died Sunday morning after a shooting in a West Oakland neighborhood, authorities said.
When officers arrived at 23rd and West streets, they found a man in his 30s on the ground, unconscious and suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body. The man’s identity was not available, pending next-of-kin notification by the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office coroner’s bureau.
