A man was shot at an apartment complex Monday morning, and police said they are asking for the public’s help in finding possible suspect witnesses.
In a statement, police said officers responded to the Parc Medallion Apartment Homes, 2500 Medallion Drive, for a report of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found a 37-year-old man suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, police said. Alameda County Fire Department firefighters also responded, providing treatment for the man before taking him to a hospital where he was later listed in stable condition. Police said the shooting did not appear to be random, that a suspect fled before officers’ arrival and that there did not appear to be an ongoing public threat.
