A man has been released on conditional bail after spending 24 hours in custody following an arrest for allegedly blackmailing This Morning presenter Alison Hammond
A suspect has been released on bail after being arrested over alleged blackmail threats to Alison Hammond.
The police previously said were taking the TV star’s allegations “very seriously” and the probe was “progressing swiftly”. According to the publication, the presenter previously told a friend: "I’ve been so naive and feel so stupid." It’s claimed that the 48 year old presenter handed over thousands of pounds to the man, and even offered to pay for him to attend rehab treatment for his battle with drugs.
