The robbery took place at a home in northwest Houston. The victim told police he had just left a bank.
HOUSTON — A man bringing in his trash wasHouston police are looking for the thieves they believe followed the man home from a bank in August.
Surveillance video shows the theft that happened in the middle of the afternoon in a northwest Houston neighborhood. It shows a maroon Toyota Camry drive back and forth by the man's home before someone in a black hooded sweatsuit gets out of the back seat on the driver's side, runs toward the man with a gun, and demands the man's stuff.The guy searched the victim’s pockets, took his wallet, and then took his backpack, which had his computer and iPad inside, police said. The thief ran back to the Toyota Camry, jumped back into the backseat, and the driver took off.
Anyone with information about the robbery or the identity of the robber is asked to contact Crime Stoppers of Houston DIRECTLY. Information leading to the charging and/or arrest of any felony suspects may result in a cash payment up to $5,000.
