Two people were robbed off of Angeles Crest Highway early Saturday morning. One of them was shot to death, Pasadena Police confirmed to FOX 11.
According to Lt. Keith Gomez with the Pasadena Polie Department, a dark four-door car was parked on the side of the Angeles Crest Highway around 3:20 a.m. Saturday, near mile marker 28.36. Inside the car were two people, a man and a woman. According to Gomez, the two were robbed.
The man, who has not yet been identified, was shot and killed during the robbery, while the woman was able to make it out uninjured. According to police, the victims and the alleged shooter did not know each other. Lt. Gomez also told FOX 11 that several officers were nearby, responding to a crash in the area, and drove by the crime scene shortly after the shooting, and they were able to jump in and help.Video taken from the scene showed multiple police cars investigating the Honda on the side of the road.
