A 35-year-old man walked into a Central District clinic with multiple machete slash wounds on July 25, 2024, the Seattle Police Department said. The man was assaulted in the Chinatown-International District, police added. The man walked into the clinic on the 2100 block of East Yesler Way shortly after 6:30 p.m. with "multiple slash wounds to both arms and head," police said.
According to the SPD, the victim was attacked with a machete after getting into an altercation with a "male suspect" around 12th Avenue South and South King Street in the Chinatown-International District. The suspect was with a woman who was not involved in the assault, police said. The victim walked about 30 minutes before arriving to the clinic, where staff called 911, police added.Police said they searched the area for the suspect but could not find him.
