Man with gunshot wound crashes into Chula Vista police headquarters [Breaking]
A motorist who crashed into the steps of the Chula Vista Police Department headquarters building Saturday afternoon was found suffering from an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said.
The 40-year-old man was driving a silver Mustang when the car hit the building’s front steps about 2:45 p.m., Chula Vista police Lt. Lamar Barrett said. Police found the man in critical condition, and he was taken to a hospital where he died.
