The former president, Greene said, is more than qualified for such an appointment due to his time spent in the Oval Office. The position could also open the door to Trump regaining the presidency in 2024, she theorized. “He has a proven 4 year record as President of the United States of America,” Greene said. “He received a record number of Republican votes of any Republican Presidential candidate! We can make him Speaker and then elect him President! He will MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!”
One X user responded to the post by accusing Greene of using it to cover up her vote to save McCarthy.“You are Such a phony. You voted to support @SpeakerMcCarthy today and now you’re trying to save face by using President Trump as cover,” the userover accusations of fraudulent business practices. Between the lawsuit and his campaign efforts, some believe he would not have enough time to serve in the speakership.
