MARKETS: Stocks are rising in early trading amid a week of turbulence caused by worry over global fallout from the U.S.-China trade war.
Longtime favorites including technology and communications companies were posting the biggest gains early Thursday.
Lyft soared 8% after raising its outlook for the year and reporting a 72% gain in revenue.The Dow Jones Industrial Average added 124 points, or 0.4%, to 26,119. The Nasdaq rose 54 points, or 0.7%, to 7,916.Bond prices fell. The yield on the 10-year Treasury rose to 1.76%.
