Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte has commended the Quezon City Police District after it reported a decrease in crime incidents that occurred in the city from January to March 2023.
The QCPD said it listed 160 cases of the eight index crimes in January; 161 in February; and 139 incidents in March. “This shows an increase in the percentage of solved cases out of the total cases reported to QCPD,” the local government said. “We commend the QCPD for its quick response that resulted in a significant decrease of crime in our city. Rest assured that the city government will continue to work hand in hand with law enforcers to ensure the safety and security of our QCitizens and the community,” Belmonte said.
