Ulrich Medical USA is coming from the St. Louis area and moving its headquarters to Plano

A global medical devices firm is moving its U.S. headquarters from the St. Louis area to Plano.

Ulrich Medical USA Inc. is shifting its office from Chesterfield, Mo., to a free-standing building at 3712 East Plano Parkway, east of U.S. Highway 75.“We believe it’s in the best strategic interest of the company to make this move, which supports Ulrich Medical USA’s strategy for profitable growth as we help our customers and distributors achieve new heights and beyond,” president and CEO Hans Stover said in a statement.

Company representatives said they are moving to Texas to expand in a more “business-friendly” environment. “The Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex was an easy choice, as it has an abundance of well-educated, talented people and attractive communities which should support Ulrich Medical USA’s growth objectives for years to come,” they said in a news release.
