Adam Sandler has been an ultra famous comedian and actor for more than 30 years — and for much of that time, he's also been a committed family man behind the scenes.
Adam’s mother, Judy, has also appeared in a handful of her son’s movies including 2007’s. But Judy was super supportive of Adam long before he was making movies.. “I started to believe her. But my father would be like, ‘You’re great, but you ain’t that great.”Adam’s father, Stanley, was an electrical engineer who passed away in 2003 following a battle with lung cancer. In June 2022, Adam took to social media to write a loving post about his father.
“Happy Father’s Day to all you dads! I had a great one. Every Time I heard his footsteps comin down the hall I knew all the fun in the world was home. My sisters and brother felt the same. And so did my wife Jackie,” heat the time. “Loved every meal, car ride, tv watch, late night talk, phone call, beach day, boat trip, driving range, baseball catch and giant family hang we had. He loved my wife a lot and she felt the same about him.
He continued: “We talk to our kids all the time about just how damn cool and smart he was and what he would have said in certain situations if he was here. Miss that man everyday and thank him for his warmth, his love for my mom, and always putting his family first.”Scott Sandler, Elizabeth Sandler, and Valerie Sandler
Adam’s three older siblings have kept low profiles over the years. Elizabeth is a dentist and Valerie is a food industry executive. Adam’s brother, Scott, is a lawyer, and while he’s never been credited as appearing in any of Adam’s movies, Adam does credit Scott with encouraging him to go into stand-up comedy. “If he hadn’t said to do it, I wouldn’t have thought it was a normal thing to do,” Adam toldmagazine in 1994. “I would have said, ‘Mom and Dad are going to get mad at me.
