In particular, Corkonians are once again waking up on Tuesday to severe flooding on some roads around the Rebel County having taken a tonking from heavy rain showers on Monday. The news doesn't really get any better for them on Tuesday with rain and wind continuing to linger and "squally, thundery showers" in store for much of the island.
"Showers will continue tonight, easing slightly and gradually becoming more confined to the western half of the country. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 8c in moderate southwest winds."
