Michael Keaton has a really cool return as Batman in the DCU's The Flash, but he has an even more exciting character comeback lined up for 2024. Although Keaton's role as Batman made The Flash a highly anticipated film, the actor has even more surprises in store, with an upcoming movie containing the comeback of one of his most iconic characters.
While Keaton's Batman is beloved, there are plenty of Batman iterations to choose from. Keaton is only one of many, meaning that his return as Bruce Wayne isn't all that special. Plus, it is clearly just following in the footsteps of Spider-Man: No Way Home, with Keaton unenthusiastically reciting lines from the original Batman movie. However, there is only one Beetlejuice, and a Beetlejuice revival only works if Keaton returns.
Beetlejuice 2 Is A Proper Revival Of Tim Burton's Vision Of His Character Another thing that makes Keaton's return as Beetlejuice so exciting is that Beetlejuice 2 will be a proper revival of Tim Burton's vision. Both Beetlejuice and the Michael Keaton Batman movies were made by Burton, and the macabre director's style is engrained into the DNA of each film. However, much of this signature tone is taken away from Keaton in his return in The Flash.
