'I've broken hands, I've broken my ankle and I've damaged my sciatic nerve in my back'
Emmerdale fave and fitness fanatic Mike Parr has listed some of the injuries he’s suffered away from acting.
He was originally part of the ITV soap’s cast between 2013 and 2018. Mike is now back in Emmerdale with his character featuring in the ongoing storyline about Billy Fletcher’s boxing. In an interview about his return, Mike has discussed his love of being active so the comeback storyline was perfect. Mike, who has an interest in football, martial arts and basketball, has listed some of the grizzly injuries he’s endured during his sporting pursuits. Mike explained: "Drama was always my first love but it's been fortunate that I've liked both because it's really helped me in my career.“A lot of the jobs that I have got is because I've been able to do the movement and sell the fighting scenes.
