From blockbuster popcorn flicks to Oscar winners to fan favorites, Millennium Park’s free outdoor summer movie lineup has something for everyone.Highlights include “Top Gun: Maverick,” “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” and 2023 Academy Award Best Picture winner “Everything Everywhere All at Once.” The series runs Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m., July 11 to Aug. 29, kicking off with “Fast Five.” The ever-popular “Clueless” and the Chicago-set classic “Barbershop” are among the oldies but goodies scheduled alongside the new releases.
Pixar’s animated “Turning Red” and Questlove’s Oscar-winning documentary “Summer of Soul” round out the lineup. Movies are shown on a 40-foot screen from the stage of the Pritzker Pavilion. Summer 2023 in Millennium Park will also be packed with free concerts, theater and dance performances, and Saturday morning workout sessions.
